I enjoyed the clip of a Japanese state security guard pinning a still armed assassin who shot the former PM, without removing his gun or wrinkling his suit. His armour was a lack of cowardice, training and intelligence.

Unlike lazy-ass Americans, at least Japanese murderers have the determination to build their own weapons.

I get points!

Oh no, not Sonny! A fine actor; met him when he was filming "Thief" on location in Chicago, maybe 30+ years ago. They had trailers in the alley outside my 2nd-floor apartment for a few days while they shot at the (now gone) original Salt'n'Pepper diner at the corner of Lincoln/Sheffield/Wrightwood. Met him on the street as I walked home from the Fullerton "L" stop one afternoon. Nice guy; he apologized for the security hassles and said he loved filming in Chicago.

No cause of death published. Had no idea he was 82 - same age as Ringo!
