RIP Alan Greenspan. Headed the Federal Reserve for 20 years -- throughout the "easy money" years under Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush2. Arguably caused/enabled the S&L crisis, the dot-com bubble, and the subprime mortgage bubble. Few seem to realize that he was an Ayn Rand Objectivist who supported privatization of Social Security. What's amazing about Greenspan is that his net worth was only $20 million when he passed.
