Are we supposed to keep a military base around forever rather than let anyone lose their jobs?

Aside from the fact that Detroit was home to three or more big companies?

Let's start with the basics, Sloww. Which cities were ruined by a base closure?

It's a big company. There's no difference. There are an assload of bases in California. Tell me it wouldn't ruin California to close them all.
Go do some research instead of going by your preconceived ideas.

lolz at comparing an industrial city in decline to a town 'ruined' by a base closure.

You're ignorant. I don't mean stupid, I just mean ignorant. You don't understand the economic input a military installation has to offer. Think of GM and then extrapolate it.
Do you know about Detroit? From about 2 million to 400k? Don't speak so authoritatively if you have no clue.

You had cities that needed a military base to be viable? Damn, that's sick.

Just like no one cared about all the embassy attacks and deaths under President George W. Bush.

She has 2+ more years to think of a good deflection for an issue no one will still care about. I think she'll be fine.

If she makes an issue of her Sec State experience, it becomes an issue she's going to have to deal with in a more substantive way than her usual screeching.

Sloww probably does want the president to be killed. Sloww is a racist Southern Democrat, just like the people who actually supported slavery and Jim Crow.
