The tech subforum is dead, so...
I want to sell my Dell 1525 laptop (its too big and noisy), but the battery is dead. Dell's prices seem outrageous to me: $136 for the 6 cell model and $156 for the 9 cell model. I checked the usual places (NCIX, Newegg, tigerdirect and Futureshop), but they don't sell batteries for my laptop. Some online stores sell supposedly compatible batteries for around $50 or $60. But I don't know if I can trust them. Do you know a good, trustworthy, online store in Canada?
BTW, I'm thinking of getting a Thinkpad X220 (great reviews) or a Thinkpad X120e (good reviews also). I also thought of getting a MB Air, but I hate the keyboard.
