The point that Ming was making was that he was just enforcing the rules (at least as he saw them through his twisted eyes ). The current Poly OT does not have the same rules as it once did and capricious use of Mod privileges must be opposed (hence my quote, something I truly believe in).

Of course, Plompie could decide he wants rules and enforcement as they have at other CIV sites and then we could make a choice whether to stay or leave. Personally, I think that would be a huge mistake. If I wanted to post under authortarian rules I would have left long ago.

In all seriousness, since when are these casual insults allowed on this site? People were banned for far less than calling someone a ****** and KH spews out insults left and right. Since when did this become acceptable for Apolyton? I must have missed something over those years I didn't post here.

Admittedly, I am not around much anymore but it doesd seem that a lot more insults are let pass than were say 5 years ago--I don't care either way except to think the moderation should try to apply a consistent standard to everyone
