For the last 48 hours, Andy Gray has been doing his best Sly Stallone on-an-icy-ravine-in-Cliffhanger impression, clinging on desperately despite being buffeted and bashed by all sorts of powerful forces. But roughly 10 seconds before the Fiver went to press Sky Sports managing director Barney Francis announced that Gray had been sacked because of "new evidence of unacceptable and offensive behaviour".
