Denmark Surrenders
The King of Denmark has officially signed the instruments of surrender. Denmark, and all of its colonies, are now under the control of the German Empire. Denmark proper will become a state within the German Empire, much like Saxony or Bayern, with the King of Denmark as its ruler.
Chancellor Bismarck Comments on Sweden
Chancellor Bismarck has voiced concern at the possibility of Swedish iron ore falling under Russian control. Many believe that in the future, Swedish iron ore will be vital to German industry as the demands of German industry for iron ore will soon outpace German iron ore production.
