"Fuego" screamed the Peruvian commander. Explosions shook the Louisiana bayou. The Peruvian 15th Armored Infantry punched forward with fanatical zeal. The CTA soldiers and native militia retreated in panic. Bodies lay everywhere most of them floating face down in the murky water of teh bayou. Tanks roared across makeshift pontoon bridges toward the retreating soldiers. The Peruvians cheered and surged forward in a massive siege attack on the unprotected CTA rear. The trenches were breached and the war was seemed well on it's way to won.

"Fire!!" screamed the general. All along the front, CW troops did just that. Hundreds of artillery pieces opened up on CTA positions as tanks and armored personnel carriers began their advance.

In the air, the largest air offensive in history began over Kansas and Nebraska as the entire CW airforce cortied to crush the CTA in the air and devastate them on the ground to make the CW advance easier.

At sea, the Gulf Fleet and the Caribbean Fleet have sortied to bring war to the Texas coast and Mexico. Planes made bombing raids on the massive oil refineries on the Texas coast and bombed harbors and shipyards along the CTA coast. In mexico, the planes dropped supplies to the rebels now fighting the CTA tooth and nail for their freedom after it was snatched away over 2 years ago.

April 15-30 2002

Operation Cleaver has begun in earnest...the CTA is now being devastated by the full force of the CW and Peru and possibly other nations...CW leadership revels in their victories as they continue to advance into the CTA

CW casualties aproach 60,000 dead...CTA casualties are estimated at over 100,000 dead and countless injured...20,000 CW soldiers captured so far

CW advance enters Nebraska and Kansas...Hastings, Grand Island, and Neligh in Nebraska are under siege while Hiawatha, Topeka, Emporia, and Dorado in Kansas are under siege...CTA forces building up in western Kansas and Nebraska...CW fears counterattack soon

CW units cross Mississippi under hail of gunfire...many barges sunk...hundreds drown...Arkansas front bogs down just miles from the river...CTA buildup wreaks havoc on CW invasion forces...1200 CW dead and 3400 injured

CW bombing raids continue over CTA cities...fighters and helicopters ravage CTA lines as CW troops continue advance...fighter battles erupt over contested cities as CTA struggles to acheve air superiority.

To Polynesia: Our fleet will be joining yours in June to iad you in your offensive.

As Canadian forces consolidated themselves in Alaska, hundreds of planes flew overhead, and a new pipeline was being built to transfer oil directly into Canada. Assault Helicopters are being used to prevent uprisings, and most cities have been taken. The Aleutians are one of the few American ruled outposts remaining.

On the border of Canada and the C.T.A. fighting is continuing.

Jean-Paul Galtier was a true Quebecquios, now serving in the Canadian military. His unit was stuck in the trenches above Washington state. Off in the distance, he could hear the rumbling, like thunder,and lights far greater then any lighting.
Combat was relatively quiet in this area. From what he had heard, the C.T.A was trying to concentrate on the CommonWealth, and those damned Peruvians. The lines were thin, and the only machine support they had had so far had been some minor artillery, and air support.
He heard another roaring, but this time it came from behind, and it was different. As time went on, it got louder, from behind the lines!
He looked behind. There were hundreds of tanks approaching! They had been hastily repainted, dark tan, with C.W. crossed out, and C.R. painted over. The entire trench erupted in cheers as they spread, and let the tanks cross over the lines.
"Okay everyone, lets get a move on, follow those tanks!" said his Sergeant. Within a few moments, Canadian troops surged over the lines, following the tanks, which pummeled the C.T.A. lines.

The Canadian army, supported by C.W. provided tanks and Air Support, has taken northern Washington, Northern Idaho, and Northwestern Montana. The Black Devils special unit has been sent to the mountainous Rockies to deal with Rebelious militias.
Air support is extremely heavy.

The first complete Type 1 naval vessel has been completed. It has been dubbed the "Fire", and it has taken position off of the West coast of British Columbia, near Prince Rupert city.

This time the murky waters of the Louisiana bayou had been exchanged for the semi-desert of Texas. CTaa troops were thick along these lines. Alot of withdrawing troops had been put in these lines to keep them from deserting. Leave it to Commies to retreat when the going gets tough. Predators and Abrams rolled along blowing away anything in sight. Things weren't looking in the CTA favor.

To CW - Very well. You take Arkansas and we will tie the CTA up in Texas.

To Canada - Seeings that we are jointly united against the CTa we suggest that we lift the sanctions we have against each other . This way we can exchange supplies more efficiently. Let bygones be bygones.

OOC: Canada and Peru...this not only applies to me but also to you as well. Since noone is taking command of the CTA right now we need to do just that so there are no acts of god that delete our invasion if you know what i am saying...this turn that i post in a few minutes will be the beginning of a massive CTA counterattack against me...since the two of you are relatively recent and smaller participants, the counterattacks levelled against you will be smaller but still there will be one and it should drive you back and create difficulty in proceedig for at least this and next turn...we need to do this so the all powerful mod doesnt say we are abusing our power and delete our campaign!! Ok bye!!

CW War News May 1-15, 2002

CTA launches massive counterattack from Kansas and Nebraska...CW forces pushed back into iowa and Missouri...Des moines once again becomes a battleground as does central Missouri as CTA armored units charge headlong into the lines.

CW air forces scramble to support crumbling ground forces in central theatre...tank killers have a holiday as do fighters...bombers devastate secondary roads, previously left unscathed by bombs.

CTA counterattack in Arkansas nearly drives CW units back into the Mississippi...arrival of gunboats and artillery barges dulls offensive and allows reinforcements to arrive.

CW Reinforcements enroute...500,000 men arriving from federalized militias in Tennessee and Kentucky to replace losses and also to bolster troops...another 750,000 expected to arrive next month as the CW scrambles to relieve war pressure.

CW Fleet goes to sea...entire new fleet leaves ports after much fanfare...will go to action in the Pacific next month after assembling in Cuba.

CTA bombers make surprise raid on Mobile and Birmingham from Texas airbases...casualties high and entire areas leveled as the bomber formations struck home aided by spy satellites...17 bombers shot down before a second raid on Memphis and Nashville was aborted.

CTA destroyes Leviathan prototypes in field combat...production to begin in September despite setbacks...will be used in Spring campaigns in massive numbers.

CTA saboteurs blow up several bridges over the Mississippi still remaining...military transport relies solely on barges, but domestic and medical depends on the vital links to each side.

CW to use radar guided phalanx cannons as commonplace anti-aircraft weapons...hundreds are already underway from Pennsylvanian warehouses and thousands more are being constructed...guns will protect bridges, bases, towns and factories from CTA air attacks.

CW welcomes CRME aid and promises them land in Mexico after the war...troops will be under CRME command and will see action on the Nebraska front which has been beaten back into Iowa right now...they will arrive next month.

To CRME: We greatly appreciate aid from our brothers in the middle east!! In return we offer you land when we divide it up after we defeat the CTA...you can have the entire Yucatan peninsula if you desire...or another suitable location! When your troops arrive, they are under your control, and they will aid our beleagured troops in Iowa adn help them push the communist scum back to Denver!!

To Canada: We should link up with your forces in Idaho sometime in October if things work out...then we will sweep into California and knock the CTA out of the war...Denver is the major obstacle here...the fighting is intense now, wait until Denver...that will be the Stalingrad of this war if ever there was one. We could use some of your Rocky Mountain Boys to threaten Denver's supply lines starting in August or so when we start breaking out of the plains...that would be great!!

To Polynesia: Our fleet is now launched and will set sail for Baja, where Marines will disembark and take Santa Rosalia allowing us a Pacific portage and the opportunity of a second front!!

To Peru: We offer you 2 Leviathan tanks, fresh from the Oak Ridge fabrication plants...the tanks will have some bugs but are superior to your current tanks and the predators...but not by much...the tanks will undergo final improvements in August and mass production will begin in September...you will then get a license to produce them at your discretion!!

TO Germany and China: What is the current state of our planned wargames session AKA "operation husky"??

The carrier Black Pearl and its escort is linking up with the CW naval forces at Baja upon their arrival. There, the fleet will provide fire support for any landing CW forces.

The Italian Navy, seeing that the Chilean Revolution has a chance of establishing a stable, free regime has decided to detach north and support the CW in its operations against the CTA.
