Guys, I'll post an EOG statement later. I'm swamped right now.

I've got the final map above, but I actually submitted a slightly different set of orders for the final turn. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to wind up altering anything, but I want to hear Du_Chateau's ruling before commenting.

Thanks to Du_Chateau for GMing after Coug left, and to Snowfire for filling in form time to time to keep the game going.

        Russia's EOG:
First I want to thank Du Chateau for continuing this game and Snowie also for subbing when needed, you guys kept is going, thanks.
Secondly, I want to congratulate Ruffhaus8 for an outstanding game, he played it as about perfect as one could.

In the beginning I faked an alliance with Cyber in order to set him up. I gained an alliance with Ruff and Victor so I could go get Cyber, I consider Cyber the most dangerous player and I didn't want to Ottomans to get too powerful. That part of my plan went great, it took a fair amount of time to finish off Cyber, naturally, those don't come easy. What I didn't expect is the speed Ruffhaus8 was chewing up the SC West of Poland, geeezzzzz nobody could slow him down and that hurt Russia a great deal. I was never in a good position to stab him and I thought a united front would always begin and slow him down, he stepped, crushed and crunched the competition. Once I saw Ruff's solo was inevitable, my only goal was then to eliminate my nemesis Victor the Conqueoror and I did that as a consolation prize.
It was an excellent game and I enjoyed it very much and would play it again and probably wouldn't let Poland get so strong but it all depends on whos playing what. Thanks to all the players who helped to make this possible.
Lets always remember the passangers on United Flight 93, true heroes in every sense of the word!

            France EOG

I started this game in the Spring 1602 turn as a replacement for the original player. I immediately attempted to contact England and Spain in an attempt to secure an alliance and to also get a general overview of the game up to that point. Both countries attacked me that season, and continued for some time. I found out quickly how hard it is to join a game when the diploming has already taken place. I held out as best I could, aided by some strategic NMR's by Spain, and was able to at least stay in til the end. Congrats to Ruffhaus for a game well played, and to everybody for not letting this game end without a conclusion. I look forward to meeting all again on the battlefield.
