    • OOC: i'd also support dStryker for mod.

      IC:
Today, president i am Nestor announced that the USS is will ing to help in peace negotiations between the 3SWE and EE /Germany.
The USS is also willing to sell high amounts of nearly everything we can produce at reduced prices in order to help rebuilding cities and other infrastructure.

Later that week, the president released further information about the Shuttle which was launched last month.
      quote:

If they are succesfull in their mission, the shuttle will land on the moon and establish the first permanent base there in years.

      • OK, I'm back as mod.
        That was quick wasn't it.

        Now what's been goin on???

I see Bill still thinks he rules the world...

        Fraggin kids...

I see Hodad has finally choosen a nation, good. But 5 million rifles? Too big a number. Remember your still a new nation. Lower that number a little bit. (Like to 3 mill)
BTW, NO SPACE WEAPONRY. I don't care if it is just satellites. This is a post-apocalyptic earth. That kind of technology hasen't been implemented yet and it makes players too powerful. Think of something else to work on. Like underground cities or terraforming the Sahara.

        • We were not completely finished with invading Arabia, but will be finshed in two days. The casualities on the me is actually 163,500, we were caught unprepared. Those figures were too early. All factories in our occupied Germany, sorry for being to damn ambigous. It won't happen again. But we are leaving troops to rebuild what we have destroyed.

          Arabian Invasion Nears Mecca
Heavy Fighting has occured outside were the Arabian Army has moved many major bases to, our Army has caught them off guard but we underestimated them. They are putting up massive resistance which is piling heavy casualities on both sides. Arabia has not yet invaded all Arabia and it will take 2-3 days to be completely invaded.

Arab Army Losses - 210,000 (Expected to Rise Rapidly)
Republic Army Losses - 54,500 (Expected to Rise)

          Alright, Alright Realistic Military Stats

            • South Korea, Japan Surrender
Last night in Taegu, South Korea, the remaining Korean troops surrendered. The city of Taegu had been under siege for over a week, with food running low for the city. South Korea is to become an autonomous province, with the capital still located in Seoul.
              Casualities:

              Chinese: 47,000
              Korean: 125,000

Most casualites occurred during the Shui capture of Seoul and the seige of Taegu.
Korean civilian casualites are estimated to be about 370,000. Most also occurred during the capture of Seoul and the siege of Taegu.

This morning in Tokyo, the Japanese government surrendered. Shui troops had advanced as far as the Tokyo surburbs, leaving most of the Yokohama area in ruins. However, on Hokkaido island, Japanese partisans are still fighting in the mountains near Sapporo.
Japan is also to become an autonomous province, with the capital located in Tokyo.
              Casualties:

              Chinese: 155,000
              Japanese: 400,000

Japanese civilian casualites number over 4 million. Most occurred during the bombing of Hiroshima, the short Japanese liberation of Osaka, and the recent Shui invasion of Yokohama.
300,000 more troops have been sent to Japan to help with the Japanese occupation.
The 50,000 troops stationed on the Kunashiri and Etorofu islands, along with 50,000 troops on the Japanese mainland, have left and have invaded Sakhalin island. Little resistance was encountered and the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk has already fallen.
Massive celebrations have been going on following the surrender of Korea and Japan.

The tax protests have finally ended in Shanghai. Protestors have agreed for the tax to be raised to 18%, instead of the original 21%.

Chinese officials have announced the successful launching of a weather satellite into space. Solar wind had destroyed the previous satellite, resulting in sporadic and inaccurate weather reports for most of eastern China. (OOC: Does a weather satellite count as space weaponry? I wouldn't think so unless you feel threatened by a weather satellite. )

OOC: Bill, if you do do the map, spell the name right! It's Shui Dynasty, not "Shui Dhastany".

              • Arabian Army Surrenders
AFter many skirmishes about 1-2 miles away from Mecca, the last few regiments of the Arabian Army have surrendered. Our Army will be sweeping through Arabia expecting light to moderate resistence. But we also fear that a few regiments escaped up to North Arabia where our troops have not yet reach.

                Casualities:
                PAR Troops - 62,500
                Arabian Troops - 121,000

                New Research in AirFusion Energy
Our scientists have been using the simple Oxygen Element to search for a new source of energy. We already tested some AirFusion in micro amounts, and will mass produce the stuff once our research is complete. This will provide the world with cleaner, safer and more efficent energy.

Fine, do the goddam map. But you had better get it RIGHT.
I don't care whether it's post-apocalyptic or just a future earth. If we were to give players space techs they would all be too powerful. Imagine space laser nuking cities from ten million miles away.
You can all use satellites, shuttles and space stations (Mir, ISS, etc.) but that is as far as it goes.

I'll brush up on the efficiency of the fuel and enrich it and I hope that an orbital bomber is not a weapon of mass destruction, but if you don't allow it, I'm cool with it...

IC: Without war or internal strife, ECPU is growing...

Hey buddy, ease up on that submit topic button.

                          Orbital bombers no, sorry.
But like I said, you can have stuff like we have to day and slightly advanced.
                          Such as:
                          Small and Large Space Stations
Shuttles and Rockets of various types (this includes ICBM's)
Satellites, including spy and weather satellites. Please be fair when creating a story using spy satellites.

                          BTW, where has everyone gone???
