  • Anybody got any people.gif archives?

I'm trying to make a scenario set in the real world, and I'm experimenting with blocking off certain techs for certain civs to allow every civ to look "correct" racially.

Does anybody have, or know where I could find, people.gifs for the following races?

    1. Oriental
    2. Arabic
    3. Indian (as in from India, not Red Indians)

    Thanks a lot!

Try out this page. It's mostly German but the pictures can be understood by anyone.

Thanks for that. I'll try to doctor the oriental gifs to look a little less stereotypical, but all the other ones they provide are just right!

I like the domain name too - "8ung"!

Maybe you already have found what you were looking for, but if you are interested you might want to check out my people collection. It can be found at http://www.geocities.com/jolciv/

Thanks - I'll take a look. I haven't managed to find a set of oriental faces that I like, and am trying bravely to make my own (one of which - the happy man face - is actually the face of the Chinese Premier Jiang Zemin...).

I'll search your database for them.

I'm also looking for Indian faces, which nobody appears to have. By Indian, I mean people who live in India, not Red Indians.

          Any help would be appreciated!

Harlan's Mongols scenario has some nice Chinese and Arab faces in his people.gif. It's available in the Apolyton CSC, Middle Ages Section.

From what I understand of that Civ game of yours, it's all about launching one's own spaceship before the others do. So this is no big news after all: my father just beat you all to the stars once more. - Philippe Baise
