ToT - the extended game
It seems there is a bug here. Whenever I start an extended game using a world map for Earth and a different map for alpha centauri, my the civ starting locations on Earth get randomized. Moreover, this is not just any randomization. Mostly it places the starting locations deep into the ocean.
The only way I ever succeeded in starting an Extended game without a randomized location was by using the same map for both planets and strangely enough telling the computer to randomize the starting locations.
