I'm trying to create picts, unfortunately Photoshop changes the UNITS.PICT color table whatever I do. How is it possible to modify this pict and keep the original palette (on a MAC) ?

    Thanks,

    Vincent

Check out the mac pages on this site for a program that retains the color table.
Personally I have no luck at all with editing PICTs at all.

Hey, I have found the tip on the Mac site !
Open the gif file with Grafic Converter, modify what you want, save it, then save it again under a .PICT file that will be used.

I'm working on a "modifying pack", I'm having great fun with it !

Graphics converter 3.6.2 works if you use batch conversion; under "Convert more ..." under the file menu. The problem I've been having is w/copying selected icons from one pict to another & getting decent color on the resulting file.
