  • Multiplayer Game?

    1.)
On the map of Europe. I posted this once at the Civ2-Multiplaying forum here at ACS a long time ago, but no one responded.

Its just 7 European powers on the European map.
    -English/Greeks
    -French/Germans/Vikings
    -Spanish/Egypt (in the map)
    -Americans (challenge)/Persians
    -Mongols (placed on the map)
    -Babylonians
    -Russians/Romans/Celts

We wouldn't want both the English and the Celts together... to much of a start-off conflict.

    2.)
Continental conflict on the world map. A civ on each continent, and we'd place a civ in South America, and because Asia is so large, we'd have two civs in Asia. Seven players.
    -North America: Sioux, Aztecs, Americans
-Europe: English, Greeks, Romans, Russians, Celts, Vikings, Germans, French... more.
    -Asia 1: Mongols, Chinese, Japanese
    -Asia 2: Indians, Persians, Babylonians
    -Africa: Zulus, Egyptians, Carthaginians
-South America: "fictional" civs; any civ
    -Australia: "fictional" civs; any civ

I'd want to try both options sometime, but lets choose one for now. I would personally want option two.

If it was a PBEM game I'd be happy to participate.

oh, and if it is, my preference would be for #1, although either is fine by me.

Nah, just an MGE game. I don't have a clue how to do PBEM.

Hey George, it's really not that hard to do a PBEM. I had no ida how to do it either, but if I can, you can.

Start up a Internet Multiplayer game, then when it asks you to wait for other players to connect, just click "start game". You'll play your turn by yourself, then save and password your Civ prior to emailing the file. Attatch file to email, and send it down the line to the next person in the order. Easy as pie.
