Stefan: Something like "Pharoah Amenhopis (or maybe another) embarks on grand new building programs"

Very interesting... Is it this message:
      quote:

Under Amenophis III., great structures will be built. He immediately begins work on new temples
and monuments. But he pays little attention to foreign policy...

      ???
This happens only when a tech is received. Truly, very interesting...

Sloth: Thanks. You'll hear from me

Ah...study a scenario design guide. The RECEIVEDTECHNOLOGY trigger activates on every turn when the designated civilization HAS that technology, rather than just the turn they get it, unless you use a JUSTONCE.

First try as Parrattana ended. Coquered also all of Elam but stopped at 51 objectives...I will try again...but I shall choose the name of Assharandon ...and this can give a clue about the strategy I plan to use!

Celestion: any suggestion on the reserch strategy?

Odd...I thought I knew a lot about that period, but I've never heard of Assharandon. Who was that?

And yeah...put all your trade into money, get a few envoys, and steal your tech from the Egyptians. Worked for me. Just stick your envoys in ships and transport them as far as needed. Then as a double-whammy you can use the extra money to bribe Egyptian cities after you've taken your tech.

Assharaddon (or more precisely in accadian Esar-Haddon (681-668 B.C.)) King of Assyria in a much later period than the one coverd by Pharaoh, son of Sennacherib and father of Assurbanipal. He was less important than both his father and his son but...he conquered Egypt

OK, then, I'll fix that bug. Thanks!

Asarhaddon conquered all of lower Egypt, which means everything up too Memphis.
                  Assurbanipal (669-627 BC) conquered Thebes.
