  • An events question

Does anybody know how to after a unit attacks and gets destroyed (Missile Flag) can you create units around that? So for example lets say that I want a cruise missle that once it attacks to create other cruise missiles around it. Is this possible? And if it is, does anybody know how to do it?

I don´t think that this is possible. Civ2 isn´t able to plot the position of a killed unit, so it´s unable to locate the positions for your new cruise missiles.

It can work when you specify a position in the events, lets say your missile attacks a city, then you can "recreate" new missiles around the city (use the right locations in the CreateUnit event). But this is impossible on the open battlefield...

Is the partisan creation hard-coded into the game? If you could recover that then it might work. And I think that a unit-killed event only applies to a non-missile unit.

I think yes. And I also think that my first post was a bit stupid, because your missile has to capture the city to trigger an event...sorry

Partisan creation is hardcoded- Once you get Communism they will show up after your cities are taken. More are created per city if you have Guerilla Warfare

And no, missiles are destroyed after attacking, they are not killed, so unitkilled does not work with them.
