Fantastic Worlds unit slots patch

I heard a rumor that one could patch their regular version of civ2 to allow the extra slots (from Fantastic Worlds) to be used. I haven't seen a patch claiming to do this, and after seeing this site, doubt it is on any mainstream site.

If anyone knows where to find a patch that will do this, or how to modify the game files manually, please e-mail me the information. I'm sure everyone on the board would like to know, too.

I've seen that socalled "patch" myself, and I think it was in this forum. You should browse through the old posts.

You should know that it's not really a patch. It's a copy of all the files which are different in Civ2 and Fantastic Worlds, and when you install it you get Fantastic Worlds (just as illegal as if you downloaded the entire FW, if you care about such things...).
