Imagine a place of wonder, where magic and technology hold equal sway, and an adventurer might just as easily wield a flintlock pistol as a flaming sword. A place where great industrial cities house castle keeps and factories, home to Dwarves, Humans, Orcs and Elves alike. A place of ancient runes and steamworks, of magic and machines, of sorcery and science.
Welcome to the land of Arcanum
Ok, so the intro blurb is cheesy, but after taking a look at Arcanum I think you'll agree that it can be forgiven. Is everyone looking forward to this game as much as I am? The setting alone gives this game oodles of potential, and with Chris Jones and Tim Cain on the project, both of which were programmers on Fallout, I firmly believe that it could rank up there with civ 3 in pure ass-kicking goodness. Unlike civ 3, however, Arcanum will be released within the next several months (woo-hoo! )f
