SMAC: 32,000 different units my a$$. 31,944 of which are just useless garbage. I don't like the sci-fi aspects of smac, and it is pretty ugly.
but I must admit I do like the map sizes, and you did have a lot more options when it came to diplomacy.
But man, I love the animations in CTP that alone makes it worth the price of admition.
CTP:4, SMAC:1 patches will fix most of the probs with ctp. I have faith.
