Um, I just went through my archive directory and I found amjayee already did a design doc a long time ago. Joker you may use that to help you with the one you are currently writing.

Actually I think we have several design docs. The problem with them all are, that they are incomplete, and that they are obsolete.
What we need, and what I am writing (although I haven't gotten very far yet, sorry) should be a short description of all game aspects, and then each chapter should have a link to the appropriate model.
This should then be built upon as we develop more and better models. It should replace (and include) the Features list at our website. And when we complete something new it should be added to it.

Yes, and I am writing a guide for new people, with our basic ideas.
And the design doc can be found at http://civ3.sourceforge.net/features.htm
but it needs updating

Unfortunately I haven't yet had time to work on the design doc. All my GGS time has been spent on the economy model, since I REALLY want to complete that soon.

Ok, I have finally begun writing the design doc. I have over 3 pages written.
But I am just wondering what areas I should go into? Yes, I know I should go into them all. But could you help me list them, to make sure I have not forgotten any?
Right now I have done Game Philosophy, Turn System, Map and Terrain, Units and Movement.
And of cause I should do Economics, Population, Government, Multiplayer, Diplomacy etc. But help me list al those, please! Thanks.

I have now written just about everything that I can think of.
But I am still not sure if there is anything I have forgotten. So please help me out here, guys!
Just write a list of the areas the design doc should be about. And if there are some that I have forgotten then I will just add those. Please?
