Treaty bug in german version?

I tried out to create treaties with other nations, but the only treaty visible is the peace treaty. I already have peace treaties (initiated by the other civ) (a dove is shown) with some of them! Is this a known bug? Maybe only in the german version of CTP2? Can someone help me with this? I use the german version with Update 1.1.

Treaties require you to have an embassy with the civ. I assume you have not run diplomats around the world yet and thus cannot create alliances or other treaties. And why do people always assume a bug, sometimes it's user error

Oh thx, but I already found my mistake. The 'dove' indicated a cease-fire, not a peace treaty. I feel real ashamed...
