  • CTP2 looks good, can someone answer this one simple question for me?

there was the pollution bug in ctp1. this was the one thing that made an endgame unplayable for me. what happened was it would appear that their is no pollution in your cities, it would just vanish. but it would continue piling up behind the scenes. can someone tell me if this has been fixed? this is the only thing keeping me from buying the game.
I gave you gonarrea because I thought you'd have fun with it.

I'm not sure if this is fixed or not, but I do know that pollution can be turned off completely at the start of a game. (as an option)

Yes, pollution can be turned off

No, the bug does not appear to be present (as my cities were notorious polluters throughout the game).

However, it must be said that the pollution model in the game is REDICULOUSLY PAINFUL to those who like big industrial cities.

Hey--I WANT to be able to build a nuke in 1 turn!

i see so you want an unbalanced game where you can build 10 nukes in 10 cities in 1 turn and have no problem with pollution or anything like that. and where the game ends when one civ manages to achieve something like that and nuke everyone off the face of the earth. cool...
