First off, I have an AMD K6-2 533 MHz computer with 64 megs RAM. Can I run the game without too many problems with that? I was hoping maybe the decent processor would make up for my lack of memory.
Other questions: How much can you have the mayors control?... can they for instance control trade, sending the right goods to the right cities, or would I have to do that myself?
Can they control public works?
Anything else they can control outside of these things and the production of a city?
If I have a city being controlled by a mayor, but want to do some stuff manually myself every now and then... if I (for instance) decide to build a wonder in a city, but leave the mayor on, will the city build the wonder and then after that is done go back to being controlled by the mayor?
And finally... how good are the mayors at controlling all of these things? You can probably see that this is my biggest remaining concern for the game. I stopped playing SMAC because the micromanagement of terraforming and controlling 25+ cities became tedious.
Thanks for any help here.
