New to the game

I got this game for Christmas, and have been trying to figure out how to play online. I would be interested in getting into a game.

Sorry, I guess I am so new that I don't know what MGE and TOT are? Would you be so kind as to explain?

VetLegion seems to be in the wrong section of the forum. MGE and TOT refer to Civilization II. MGE is the gold edition which gave Civ2 net play capability. TOT is the Test of Time edition which added new tech trees and a couple of scenarios.

If you are interested in Civilation:Call to Power, do the following.

Go to Civilization:CTP site at the bottom of this topic page.
Click on the Downloads link.
Get the Patch 1.2 and the Patch 1.21 Hack.
Once everything is installed and updated, get on the net, start CTP, click Multiplayer button, follow the screens from there.
