Civ3ptw with 1.14f patch crashes when I try to start a hot seat game. Even without the 1.14f patch it still won't start a local game. Here's what i do:-Go to multiplayer,
Select the loctaion as local,
Click on host.
At this point the game quits back to my desktop.
This problem only became apparent after I had broadband installed (could be something else though). I have disabled the NIC and completely reinstalled Civ3, 1.29f patch, civ3ptw and then civ3ptw 1.14f patch and the results are still the same.
I also have Norton Internet Security installed and am wondering if this is contributing to the problem.
Can anyone help me?
