  • So, does that mean before we discovered bridges we couldn't cross rivers? Damn. That sucks. Heh. Have you heard of ferries? Fords? just two options for crossing rivers that are perty basic. Bridges ain't the only way after all.
By working faithfully eight hours a day, you may get to be a boss and work twelve hours a day.

    • inventing ferrys before bridges? bridges are pretty ancient, I don't think there'd be too much of a prob with that, and I think its a good idea. its how it should be

      • In Civilization, the first title, before you discovered Bridge technology, you could still cross rivers, you just couldn't build roads across them.

So I believe you'll be able to cross rivers without Bridge technology, in fact, no technology will be needed to cross rivers.

        • DON'T BUMP THESE THREADS WITHOUT REALLY GOOD REASON! And I was thinking here that there was a new update:
"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency
"That’s the future of the Democratic Party: providing Republicans with a number of cute (but not that bright) comfort women." - Adam Yoshida, Canada's gift to the world

LOL! You and me both, Stefu. Even worse, my modem's being sluggish today (it hasn't had it's coffee yet), so I waited five minutes just to learn that there was no update.
