The proper units for the proper civilization

    One possible solution would be the ability to specialise in certain types of units or warfare in order to customise your forces to suit your own style. If you place more importance on infantry than you do on combat aircraft, for instance, you could produce infantry units with improved attack/defence at the expense of your fighters and bombers.

    It could be as simplistic as a bunch of sliding bars not unlike the Taxes/Research/Luxury rate controls in Civ2, or as complicated as balancing on a unit-by-unit basis. I'm not much in favour of the latter, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

      An idea for how to include Civ specific units is not to make them for any one civ, but tie them to wonders or to technology.
