It took me a while to get the game to load properly, but I did it. I love it. I never thought I would like an SP game so much (much more than I did Civ2).
It's addictive. I played two 12 hour sessions last weekend. I have to make myself stay away from it. I LOVE the cultural takeover feature! I can't wait to open it up again and proceed with my conquest of the world by influence, it suits me perfectly.
It is the perfect antidote to the military types. By the time this comes out as MP, I hope I drive you crazy! I've been taking over cities actively at war with me.

I assume, of course, that strategies will evolve to defeat that, but that's the fun part, contending with the different strategies.
