went into the store (here in Australia) to get my NIC replaced after it went belly up, and I saw Civ 3 on the shelves.
I picked it up, looked at it for five seconds, put it back on the shelf and wandered out of the shop.
My resolve was never truly tested... for there was doubt in my heart and it wrapped chains of steel around my wallet....
