  • Armies and battle calculations

I'm not sure if this has already been asked (probably), but I'll ask anyway...

Does anyone know how the attack/defense/hit points works with armies? For instance, what is the difference between an army of 3 knights attacking a stack of 3 knights?

I know that you have to kill all the army units, and that they rotate when their hit points start dropping, but there must be more to their power than that.

Does an army add up all the attack strength of all the units, and use that as the factor when determining who wins a round of battle? For example, do 3 knights operate with an attack of 3*4 and a defense of 3*4?

So, an attack round might have the army having a 12:3 chance against one of the knights in the "stack" (or 9:4 if defending).

    Anyone know for sure?
