  • Again: Player wanted for longest running email game!

After the withdrawal of Milo from the Civ world, we are looking for a new leader for the roman civ

The game is ongoing now for more than 18 months. Look here for more details about the game setup and technical details: http://apolyton.net/forums/Forum2/HTML/000819.html

It is a seven player game with actually six active (DaveV, Eddy, Ian, MacUser, Sparrowhawk, and me). In average, there is one turn per week at the moment.

The game is amazing well balanced at 150 BC:

Interested in joining? The roman civ is vacant now.

Important: For speed reasons, you should be able to play your email turn most of the days to the same time!

Players with time schedules between 20.00 EDT and 22.00 EDT will be most welcomed (and preferred ), time schedules between 22.00 EDT and 06.00 EDT are also acceptable (second choice, sorry )

Oh, translated for other timezones: 20.00 EDT = 01.00 GMT = 11.00 Aussie time (AEDT) (I guess?)

Don't worry about the technical how to, it is really easy to learn!

(Many thanx to Dave for informing me in time that geocities didn't work )

If you only play 1 turn per week , why are times so important?
Excuse me if this is a stupid question.

I could understand the need for available times to play 1 turn a day but for one turn a week it should not be so important.

For every player who does not match into the time scheduling, it simply will take one day more per turn
If I say one week per turn, this is not necessary always so. Sometimes, the game went on pretty fast. However, often one or more of the seven players are not availible for some days, and then the game sticks there
Actually, the file is sticking at MacUser (again ) for three days...

Crustacian has heard the cry for a new leader from the people called Roman!

If it is good in the eyes of the other leaders in this world, I am at your bidding to lead these Vigorous and Clever Folk near the sea.

Crustacian, the great and legendar leader, who knows more about the sea than anybody else, will be most welcome to our game

So it shall be done: Long live the new king of the romans!

We sent out a carrier with (email-) notes about the details you need to know...

          Good luck
