Yet another attempt at a diplogame :)
Ok i have only been back slightly under a month and to my surprise i find the MP section full of two types of games...... simul turns and diplo games!
I post this thread in an attempt to land myself and my cousin (Mercantile) into a game. The two of us are agreeing to share a civ as we are both busy and not always available to play at the same time. In this sense we might actually have a realistic portrayal of different types of leaders throughout the whole game.
As many of you know.... i am a feisty warmonger and my cousin....... well hopefully he wont' undo the progress i make with his silly reforms is one of these perfectionists
Mercantile works a mix of days, nights and weekends, whereas i work only days. Therefore any nights where he works.... i would rule our civ with an iron hand. On those nights when women are more important to me than controlling the inferior peasants, Mercantile will preside. Either way...... one or both of us will always be present for the game once we establish a set time with the others.
If this sounds appealing to you then please message me on icq @30200920 and either Merc or myself will respond. Also responses in this thread are welcome and probably would allow for discussion of settings , maps, rules, modifications, etc.
Both of us are looking for a game where we can play to the end, with experienced ,deity , raging players, whom obviously wont' quit in a months time.
The only stipulation both of us have is that we get to be the mongols, for one of two reasons..... first that is the only tribe i play... second Merc bought that stupid hat and figures he needs to be an Asian culture in order to wear it
So ...... i hope to play either once of twice a week, depending on the others........ and this time would have to be after 5pm weekdays..... and not on Sundays until after 12 noon PST.
I hope to see some responses in the very near future so we can get this game under way. Cheers and good civing in the new year to everyone
