  • My Multiplayer Game

Im playing with three human opponents on a large randon map at chieftain.
We are in 1500bc, and i have 109 cities, research electricity, have pyramids, king richards, leonardos and statue of liberty, and 10 million inhabitans.
    Any better?

From my style of playing, even trying ICS, that seems ridiculous. I don't think that I could get that many cities if I was the only civ. I won't believe it unless someone I know and trust says it is plausible!

    What settings?
    Civ2 Demo Game #1 City-Planner, President, Historian
Civ2 Demo Game #2 Minister of War,President, Minister of Trade, Vice President, City-Planner
Civ2 Demo Game #3 President, Minister of War, President
    Civ2 Demo Game #4 Despot, City-Planner, Consul

Um, Cavebear, I think "Chieftan" answers a lot of questions, no?

KaiserIsak - Are your 3 opponents enjoying the game still? Do you think it might be time to raise your difficulty level? If not I have a little brother that would love to play ya. ;-)

Well, this was our first multiplayer game, and i did´nt have a clue about what difficulty to play. We all agreed on chiefatin since that was the only level my opponents had played on before.
They´re all allied against me now, so i think they still enjoy the game, but i guess that will change very soon if i continue this growth.
The settings is normal game, and with normal resource/movement (not dobbel as u may believe)

        What is ICS?

Welcome to MP KaierIsak. Yes you will find players getting very tired of a game when an insurmountable lead opens. Usually a winner is declared when the outcome is obvious (with 3 on 1 that may not be the case however). Being your 1st MP experience however perhaps everyone is prepared to ride that bus to the end.

Chieftan is a very basic difficulty level. Work up from it as soon as possible. Most MP games are played on King level or higher.

The standard difficulty for multiplay is anywhere from King to Deity.

            ICS="Innumerable City Strategy."

Well, i definatly used the ICS strategy then.
I still wonder if anybody have done better then this. Ive played civ for a while now, and i have never even been close to such nan achievement as this.

I don't know what you mean by "better." Since the years pass so slowly in Chieftain, it's not clear whether your accomplishment is anything special or not.

It's always great to do well KaiserIsak. It just feels even better when you can do well on harder settings. You sound like you are ready for a challenge a little tougher than Chieftan. Let us know how you do.
