  • Maybe there should be a special Warmonger's Timer. When the need to massacre has been sated, the game automatically kicks over to the next player's turn.

    • OK, I played my first e-mail turn and forwarded to makeo. It is still 1780AD and will change year when it gets to AHorse - the white civ.

I think it would be a good idea to tell your enemies what units they lost when you send it. I told makeo he lost just one Engineer near Killdeer.

Let's try and get a turn a day - a full round in every 24 hours..... I mean I only use one of those hours

            • 1784AD:
deity moved on Broad Bean; stole Combustion; and took Espionage upon acquiring the city after destroying unit production and city walls. Two friggin annoying partisans took to the outskirts... one survives.

deity will not advance on finbar's great cities provided he cancels his alliance with the *yellow* ones... and in return some cities may be returned to the great finbar.

Some sub-ordinates changed production orders but the might of THE DEITIANS can cope with that
One Aztec sub was destroyed and a cruiser was damaged...

              ---
Come on guys we can move quicker than this! One turn in five days. I might be slow online but I'm damn quick when turning around e-mail turns

              • Something has obviously gone wrong since the year should be 1782. The first round was played in 1780 and since this is the second round it should be 1782 not 1784.

The save you sent me, i had, had a turn skipped where the ai obviously had control of my civ since i went into disorder from a government collapse but the when i sent the save to hydey none of my cities were in disorder.

                so there is a prob.

                • OK you bloody stupid Aussie group:

the e-mail thing has been stuffed between AH and finbar!
The save fin sent me was dated 1784 and should've been 1782. I asked fin at the time who did complain about the ai screwing things up so if the save he got from AH was dated 1784 then AH has stuffed it all up by pressing ENTER THEN SAVING
You don't press enter at the end of your turn you just press save

This is so embarrassing to the world...
It was either AH or finbar....
place your bets everone on who the IDIOT is

                  • I hasten to add that my units appeared as I'd left them in 1780 and I played my turn with no probs, thinking that perhaps it was 4 year increments at this stage... simply noting that 1784 didn't look right...
Just in case you were thinking of calling me an IDIOT

                      • Sorry Sherlock, the save I sent finbar, without pressing enter, was 1782. On whose turn does it become 1784?

I have sent the save to finbar again.

well the save I got from finbar was labelled:

                          President Shaka 1784 A.D.

BTW This is Mac naming , so to open on a PC you need to add ".net"

                              • I went back and checked the save Horse sent me. When the map opens, it's 1782. The "End of turn, Hit Return" sign is flashing. I have to hit Return in order to get a turn. The date changes to 1784 for my turn.

                                So?
