error message when loading a scenario

I download scenarios, but when I goto load them, but an error message comes up. It says game not loaded: file in obsolete format. This happens every time I try to open a scenario. Can someone please help me. thanks
Im using ToT, and ToT scenarios.

But be warned, Fantastic Worlds is capable is using extra technologies and extra units and more complex events, and if the scenario
uses any of these it won't work properly when converted.

Be careful with the converter too...doesn't always work too well.
