Well, I'm glad to see so many peers! I'm 36 but the real MASTER Civer in my house is my nine year-old son! (to the tune of Pinball Wizard) "...never reads the manual, ignors the High Council, no worries with the Vikings he's got the Great Wall, always gets the Goodies, never seen him fail, that bad boy o'mine sure plays a mean CIV 2!!"

      33 here.
I thought I was the oldest after ming/rah. Now I feel almost young again!
I haven't introduced my kid, age 8, to Civ2. My next project might be to translate the game files for her? And install it on one of her own two PCs (one desktop, one laptop).

Good idea to ask... I though you were all students; otherwise how can you have the time for Civ???

        I'm 25, and sadly not a student.

Actually, we bought MPG for Mac a month or two ago (my son begged me into it for the scenarios) ! Now that the Mac patch is available, hopefully you'll see both of us playing on the net!

I'm think living much more than 70 is no use. What fun living in a wheel-chair does it give (perhaps playing civ20 or what number will it be at that time !) I have plenty of time to play civ2 as I'm unemployed. How much do you play civ2 per day

                  I'm a young civer in my prime - 32.

My three-year-old son asked me to buy Worms2 for him today. Of course I directed him to the backyard where he can get all the worms he wants for free.

John Paul, thank you for your refreshing perspective. It reminds me of when I was sixteen and I believed that parting, drinking and smoking were the hallmarks of maturity.

I tried to make a Starship Troopers scenario but it turned out to have a lot of bugs in it. ;)

Once the knees break 100, it's all pretty much the same. Ack! time to go back to work.

I am 26 years old. I personally cannot wait for retirement, so my civII sessions are no longer interrupted by annoyances such as work.

So far the average age of the Apolytoner lies between 31 and 32.

                              Going up or down?
