e-civ PBEM:Anyone tried it?

Searching the net for a good PBEM game i found this free game (http://e-civ.ese.ru/).
It seems a sort of enhanced Civ2 using only PBEM but i haven't still tried it.
I'm particularly interested in the max number of players, it seems they have 91 players on a single "civ2-like" game on a 130x130 Map ?!?
