Guess this could go like this. favorite civ to play would be the Romans as its a historical good time in history. One problem is I dont like going past the Legions, seems unroman.... Next would be the Mongols. There just to bad a civ in world history to not take up. Next is the Japanese. Well thats my Warmongor civs to play with.

Irrationality. My favorite color is blue, so I began playing as Germans, but ALWAYS changed the name, via customization, to Goths. When I discovered that a bug in the game sometimes gave unlimited money to the purple civ, my solution was to then always play the purple civ, customizing it w/the Goth name. This also just happened to eliminate the annoying prospect of the Sioux "Empire" and the hyper-aggressive Mongols.

Hmm. It sounds quite strange reading how you talk about the colors of civs
I think it was boring to always know what civs were in the same game, so I started randomizing the colors at the start of each game (I just use dice and edit the rules.txt according to my die rolls... haven't figured out a more advanced system), making it more exciting. Nowadays, it's much more fun, like having the Greeks, English and Carthaginians, and Romans, Russians and Celts all in the same game! I'd suggest you to try it, too. If you don't like it, change the colors back.
Ade, I recently developed a program that randomizes the personalities of the computer players. I could pretty easily modify it to randomize the colors of the different civs. I just have to make sure that I only assign 3 of each color. Let me know if you are interested and I create it and send it to you.
