  • The useless things you discover ...

Started with the usual two Deity-level settlers. Built immediately with the first one. The city was size 1, as per usual. Accidentally hit the "B" key when the second settler was flashing. In other words, I accidentally built with him, too, but inside the city. He disappeared. Next turn, the city was size 2 and in revolt. Gee.

    The Satanic messages in Civ.

    *indirect jab at Alexander's Horse*
Das Wasser soll dein Spiegel sein
Erst wenn es glatt ist, wirst du sehen
    Wieviel Märchen dir noch bleibt
und um Erlösung wirst du flehen.

The water shall be your mirror
Only when it's smooth you will see
How much fairy-tale is left for you
And you will beg for deliverance.

Why is this unusual? If you press Bfor a settler in a city, it adds to the city population. It's been that way since Civ1.

Well, there you go. I didn't ever play Civ I and I'd never accidentally hit the "B" key in that situation in Civ 2 before.
