Should Apolyton use vBB instead of UBB?

Are you sure vBB is better than UBB? Imlandris, a big Tolkien fan site has switched from UBB to vBB. All was swell, until a couple of days ago, the forum went down for "upgrading" and hasn't been up yet. I also remember reading (somewhere in Apolyton) that vBB has this sort of problem. If this is the case, then we had better stick to the UBB. Plus, with the UBB-->vBB change, Imlandris has lost it's personal message feature.

I hope that Imlandris will soon be up again. These guys had the most fun, enlightened, civilised and intellectual discussion I've ever found in a forum....
