  • Opera questions...

Trying to flee the Evil Empire I started to use Opera and already I'm in love

But does anyone know how I can make Opera know that I want to keep the Apolyton cookie on my HD? I tried every option I could think of but every time I have to make a post to be recognized as being logged in. With IE everything works just fine...

Furthermore, when looking at the "Currently browsing..." list in both browsers at the same time I see my name in IE but not in Opera. Anyone know how comes?
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
    Once again...

Under preferences above the first post of each page you should set it to remember your username and password. This should save your username/password in a cookie. Since each browser makes its own cookies you should set this in all your browsers. Other than that I can't help you, because I only use IE.

But I'm "cookied" by IE, so Opera should show me in the list... I'm browsing with two browsers at the same time.

Hueij, do you know who said this: "the opera is not over til the fat lady has finished her song"? Yes,
          a compatriot of yours

Getting back on topic, may I suggest you to try Netscape for a change?

Paul, I know how it works in IE but I can't figure it out in Opera...

Jay, it's a Dutch expression? I always wondered where it came from

I'm trying style sheets right now, so I have Netscape 4.xx. It sucks... And from the reviews I've read about 6 I decided to skip that one...

Is that so? The point is that I'm logged in thru IE so Opera should show that there is a Hueij browsing the boards. It doesn't have to know it's me

Leo Benhakker used to said this every time Real Madrid lost a game. There was a time that almost everybody in Spain was making jokes with that sentence. Mr. van Gaal was also very good at coining long-lasting statements

That's why I'm using Opera. It's mean, it's lean and it's fast... And it doesn't open a new instance when you open a new page...

But Netscape really let us down...
