  • Quick Question about starting dates.

Why do the older members have a date like :

    Name
    Rank
    Homeplace
    b. 02-15-99

    and others have one like:

    Name
    Rank
    Homeplace
    May 2000

    ???????????

    Could someone explain this please.

Before the date on the first example, registration dates weren't recorded. All the new bells and whistles were added after the merger. Since then, the dates of all registrations were recorded, for example, I didn't register until Feb 2000, but I know of people who registered in 1998, and thus their profile displays this information...

    Does this answer your question?

From what I understand, 'b. 02-15-99' refers to the date when they decided to display the registration date in the profile. Since it wasn't recorded before that date, all those who registered before it was implemented ended up with 'b. 02-15-99' as their default registration date.
