Why is the Karen Mills thread locked at the top of the OT?

Fair enough. I guess my suggestion of limiting further appeals to an announcement including information on where to send possible donations (as opposed to creating new threads each time a new appeal is made) doesn't go well with Lancer's need to thank people. Unless the thanks were expressed in some other way, like PMs or email.

But Narck thinks this suggestion would damage the cause of raising money. However, it was just a thought to ponder and I guess it's been pondered and dismissed, since Narck was the only one to respond directly to it.

    Carry on.

Hey, I think most folks like to give their good name to help Karen, as well as their money. They like to say, I'm with you! Plus, that's one more person Karen can depend on. I really don't think folks are looking for my thanks.
<img src="/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>Not at all, that's not what I was trying to imply. I meant that ppl will not mind you thanking them, in fact, I think that everyone who doesn't donate anonymously thinks of it as a positive thing. Naturally, the REASON for anyone to donate is Karen, not your thank you message But I'm just saying that I believe ppl see your posts as being positive, not negative And for those few who wish to donate anonymously, well, that's also quite possible.

This is good , AH complains and he gets all sorts of personel attacks thrown at him, I support his argument and no-one attacks me.
Perhaps people are more interested in just attacking Alexanders Horse than they are in discussing the subject of sticky threads on the OT.
        <img src="/images/blue1.gif" width=100% height=1></font></td></tr></table></center>

Hydey, you are a hairy eared idiot!
        Happy?

Of course attacking Horse is the point...you get what you give...and he can take it as well as hand it out.
I think the discussion--though conducted like a wrestling match over a doll by 5 yr old girls--was valid...no need to get all personal.
I think Horse was just mad that his Israel thread wasn't reigning supreme over the OT...
Let's all shake hands and get on with our fantasy lives, shall we?

The Troll? Shut down one of his own threads? Ho ho. Tee hee. He'll be back in a trice to pump some poison back into things.
