  • Not holding login info.

Okay, cookies are enabled (normal and per session) but my browser (IE 5.5) won't hold my info anymore.

In fact, I'm using 5.5 at work too, and it won't hold there either.

It works fine on other UBB and a different type of BB that uses cookies.

    Ideas?

I think IE 5.5 doesn't accept the nick "Kyle"...

To be frank, I find that the forum doesn't remember my nick either, about 50% of the time... and I'm using IE 5.01

Since I have the feature switched off by default (you only have to type them in once per session anyway, better to get used to it if you use public computers), I can't really comment. I have noticed that IE 5.5 crashes more on Apolyton than on any other site, though.

Don't know why, but it seems to be working now.

Perhaps you need to turn on JavaScript.

You need both JavaScript and cookies for the browser to remember your login -- cookies to store the data, JavaScript to fill in the blanks on the reply form.

I use Ie5.5 on win95a and the info holds alright, so it'll be a local problem...
