  • Time is of the essence!

I noticed right now that the Apolyton time has shifted back one hour. It used to be six hours behind my home time zone, now it's seven. How come? Has the summer passed so quickly that Apolyton has already dropped the daylight savings time?

I never look at the time anyway... But, now that I know, it really is annoying.

EDIT What? It is not 6:21. (We all know this, but I had to put it someware )

I haven't noticed, daylight savings? Lemme see...the time on my computer says about 11:00PM, or 23:00 now and I'm in EST.
Who wants DVDs? Good prices! I swear!

I must say that I also find this very annoying. I am used to a 6 hour time difference and now it's suddenly 7 hours.

Is one of the admins available for a comment on this? Why was the Apoyton time set back one hour on friday?

Maybe Toronto (where the server is/was located) has seperated from the rest of Ontario and declared "Toronto Standard Time".

Could you set the script time forward one hour then? It says at the bottom of the screen "All times are EDT", but it isn't, it's EDT -1 now. It's just like when the Vatican threw out ten days in the 15th century. Most annoying.

Yeah, I remember that. It took me a couple of months to get adjusted...

See? My point exactly Huey. This is how it starts, just a test to see if we'll react like dairy cows do each year when the daylight savings time ends. And I know I am.

                    Mooh.

So, are you going to do anything about this or am I going to have to get used to a 7 hour time difference with Apolyton?

And while we're on the subject of time, I just noticed that the current date/time in the threads is not the current date/time but the date/time of the last post in that thread. You might want to do something about that.

Hmmm... whatta you think, Provost? This is untolerable! There's an imminent danger that the forums will get contaminated with mad cow's disease if the time isn't set right soon. But alas, it seems we'll have to wait till the cows come home for that...

                            Mooh!

Maybe if someone was to set the time right - one hour forward - we could close this thread, and not have to Mooh! it to the top of the page every couple of days!
