  • A question about login e-mails...

A friend of mine informs me that when he tried to register at Apolyton, he was told that he couldn`t because he had an e-mail registered with Yahoo. Is this true? And if it is, why?

they do it so people like me, only with less resources, don't use free e-mail accounts to make double logins.

Since there are literally thousands of free e-mail services on the net, the whole excercise (Whose purpose is to prevent double logins) is rather pointless. Add to this the number of Free ISPs, and the possibilites are too many...

No Hugo, it is not pointless. It is an uphill battle but we are going to do what we can to curb the creation and usage of double logins.

I think this is kind of silly.. Why is there such a big deal again? I use @usa.net not only because it sounds cool, but because I can access it from anywhere and there's less chance of accidental virus downloads when its on someone else's server...
