Have you ever considered adding internet time, you know beats. Only asking cuz I got access. BTW what timezone do you use now, GMT -5 ?

"the time zone is where the server is"
    This is true.

"they don't care what you think"
    This, however, is false.

The time stamp on posts/threads in anything 'applicable' on Apolyton (e.g. not just in the forums but also news items) are based on the time the server that Apolyton hosts is set at, which in this case is EST (Eastern Standard Time).

    If you're looking for a decent online timezone converter, <A HREF="http://sandbox.xerox.com/stewart/tzconvert.cgi" TARGET="_new">try this one</A>.

Time for the planet (which is where your readers come from, all over) is measured at 0º longitude.

(GMT rather than BST that is )

PS The worldclock is handy, although I don't refer to it as much as I used to.

Thank you for the help but I dont really have any problem with the timezone you are using and no real need to convert it.
I do however have a clock that shows beats but nowhere to use it

Anyway, if the Internet time (beats) would become popular and it should since beats are the same all over regardless of timezone, could one not create some, hmm, script(??) or something converting the EST of the server to beats and then put it in behind the current time?

hmm... I thought we used EST here because that's where all the important people live. Well... Ming is almost EST.

But, but... that's all wrong! CET is the time zone where most important people live!

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all.
