In this latest edition of "The Brian Reynolds Session", Reynolds looks at the introduction of Windows95 and playing Civilization II in this environment. He recalls the timeline crunch for adding scenarios to CivII, and improving the game's Map Editor along the way. Reynolds remembers using dial-up Internet access while in England to communicate back to MicroPROSE offices in the United States. Today and in the recenet past, he discusses outsourcing some artwork, the good and bad of finding good artists and incorporating good game graphics on the PC. The price of console systems and comparing gameplay experience to PCs rounds out this part of his conversation.
