During ApolyCon '06 held in Timonium, Maryland this past July, Big Huge Games Chief Executive Officer & Creative Director Brian Reynolds conducted a 'Question & Answer' period followed by an autograph session. The session was recorded by event Chairman Daniel "DanQ" Quick. The first of five sessions is now available for listening in streaming MP3 format.
In this premiere edition of "The Brian Reynolds Session", Reynolds notes that while his wife was working on a teaching fellowship for a year in England, he worked extensively on Civilization II's development. He reflects on his computer work prior to joining MicroPROSE as well as what genre of games he orignally worked on at the company. He observes a trend towards console over PC gaming, and comments on which genre he believes will keep the PC industry competitive. Further, he confirms working on a console project but cannot publicly discuss it at present.
4.8MB in size, the clip runs for 10m15s. Part 2 is scheduled for publishing on November 7th.
