"Big Huge Gaming: Lead-Up and Tour (Part 1)" Video
Following a filmed reception [<A HREF="http://apolyton.net/civgroups/news.php?civgroupid=81">see story</A>], exclusive three-part <I>Warlords</I> video preview [<A HREF="http://apolyton.net/news/search.php?Category=All&LookFor=both&Find1=a06&And Or=or&Find2=warlords">see story</A>] and the <I>CivIV</I> multiplayer tournament prelude [<A HREF="http://apolyton.net/civgroups/news.php?civgroupid=81">see story</A>], footage from <B>ApolyCon '06</B> in Timonium, Maryland continues. The first day was <U>Friday, July 7th</U> with time shared between <A HREF="http://apolyton.net/go.php?http://www.hotel-ballt.com" TARGET="_new">event venue</A> <B>Holiday Inn Select-Baltimore North</B> and <A HREF="http://apolyton.net/go.php?http://www.bighugegames.com" TARGET="_new">the offices of</A> <I>Rise of Nations</I> developer <B>Big Huge Games</B> (BHG). At the latter, participants were treated to a night of "Big Huge Gaming" with Production Intern <A HREF="http://apolyton.net/go.php?http://www.bighugegames.com/team/dwightsmith.html" TARGET="_new">Dwight Swith</A> and Community Relations Manager <A HREF="http://apolyton.net/go.php?http://www.bighugegames.com/team/joepishgar.html" TARGET="_new">Joe Pishgar</A>.
In <A HREF="http://convention.apolyton.net/videos/bhgaming_part1.wmv" TITLE="Click to Download (21.7MB)">this first video instalment</A>, the "Lead-Up and Tour" of the evening is documented. Smith guided the group on a tour of the BHG offices prior to several hours of non-stop unplugged (and some plugged) gaming. Below is a screenshot from this production:
